We will confirm your attendance by March 30, 2007.
Attendance is limited, but it is a funded conference. Salary replacement, travel, hotel and meal allowance expenses will be covered as per the BCNU policy.
Attendees will be selected by the conference steering committee in consultation with BCNU regional chairs.

| Call For Abstracts: |
BCNU is excited to hold our inaugural Nursing Week Conference in Vancouver. We want to
provide a forum for you to celebrate and network on topics of relevance to other nurses working in British Columbia.
Abstracts from our members are invited for poster presentation on topics relating to:
• Innovative Front-Line nursing practice in BC;
• Practices which have resulted in policy changes at the facility (including unit or program levels), Health Authority or Legislative levels;
• Practices which address leadership or diversity in nursing.

| Abstract Submission Guidelines: |
We will assist you with creating and displaying a poster presentation on your work at the BCNU Nursing Week Conference on May 7 and 8. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your work and research to other nurses in the province.
• 250 words in Arial 12 point. font using lower case
lettering: left indent, no bold, underlined or
italicized formatting.
• The title should be no more than 75 characters.
• Include the following headings: Title of Presentation, Authors/Presenter(s) including name(s), title and facility; Background of Project, Purpose and Findings/Implications.
• Works in progress are welcome.
• Include presenter(s) contact information with name, email address and telephone number. |
| Poster Guidelines: |
For all abstracts accepted as posters, the presenter must be available to display the poster and will be responsible for the presentation material and supplies. The poster is 4 ft x 6 ft in width. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference
(session times to be announced). |
