You can attend one or the other workshops or both!
These Regional Workshops will:
- guide you through new territory in tackling workload and moral distress;
- inspire confidence, knowledge and skills to make concrete changes in your
work/life and,
- help you plan the change you really want to see!
Day 1: Finding Creative Solutions: Workload and Moral Distress
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Clarify how your Union has positively influenced health care.
- Examine root causes of workload.
- Explore personal ways of dealing with moral distress.
- Identify creative solutions to workload & moral distress in your workplace.
Day 2: Learning to Soar: Planning for the Change You Want to See
Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Use your Union's strategic plan at the local level.
- Use the Appreciative Inquiry (AI) planning skills of determining strengths,
opportunities, aspirations and results.
- Develop and submit a strategic action plan for a worksite initiative.
