PRFs – key problem-solving tool

  • The Professional Responsibility Form (PRF) process enables RNs and RPNs to document concerns about workload, safety, patient care and other nursing practice issues. Filing PRFs pays off for nurses and patients. Article 59 is the Professional Responsibility clause in the Provincial Collective Agreement.

  • PRFs are our best tool for defending our professional standards and our practice, and holding employers accountable for their responsibility to provide resources needed to keep patients and nurses safe

  • PRF Guiding Principles

If your nursing practice is threatened, fill out a PRF form. If you need assistance, please contact us.

See the Member Toolkit for all the information you need about PRFs.
