How to appeal a WCB decision
If your WCB claim is denied, you must file a WCB appeal. The BCNU OH&S department assists members in appeals of Workers' Compensation benefit decisions. If you receive a WCB decision that you disagree with and wish to appeal please contact the OH&S Labour Relations Officer assigned to your region.

It is strongly recommended that members contact the OH&S department if they have questions about appealing a WCB decision. The process is highly complex and our appeal representatives have expertise in this field. If you have questions about appealing contact us immediately. The WCB has strict time limits for appeals and failure to act promptly will put your appeal at risk.

Decision letters you wish to appeal can be sent directly to the BCNU OH&S Labour Relations Officer. We will then send you an appeal package and represent you throughout the appeal process.
