BC Fed declares boycott of Purdy’s Chocolates

In support of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers (CEP) Union Local 2000 members who have been on strike for over four months, the BC Federation of Labour has declared a boycott of Purdy’s Chocolates.

To kick off their campaign CEP will be leafletting Purdy’s locations and are asking for your assistance.

Purdy’s has 24 locations in the Lower Mainland, 3 in Victoria, 2 in Nanaimo and 3 in the Interior (Kamloops, Vernon, Kelowna). CEP plans to leaflet the Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday of two consecutive weekends, October 5-7 and 12-14.

If any BCNU members are able to help leaflet or need more information on the Purdy’s strike please contact:
Jukka Sokkanen 604-787-0479 or 604-682-6501
Gord Flett 604-726-2925

Any support will be greatly appreciated by the workers at Purdy’s Chocolates.
