Election 2002
Nominations have now closed for the upcoming BCNU election for the positions of President and Vice President.
The two candidates running for BCNU President are: Greg McGunigle and Debra McPherson.
The three candidates running for BCNU Vice President are: Carol McCullough, Len Rose and Patt Shuttleworth.
You will find election statements from each of the candidates and their biographies in the next issue of Update magazine, which will be mailed to all BCNU members in March 2002. Then, in April, an election brochure featuring the candidates will be mailed to all members.
That mailing will also include clear, concise instructions on how to use BCNU’s new televoting system and a Personal Identity Number. Each PIN will be unique and secure. To vote, you can use your PIN anywhere in the province (a 1-800 number will be provided). You can also vote 24 hours per day during the election period which runs from 6 AM on May 12 to 12 Noon on May 17, 2002.
