BCNU candidates for president and vice president now posted on the web
BCNU’s web site now includes the biographies and statements of each of the candidates running in the upcoming election for BCNU president and vice president.
The two candidates running for BCNU President are: Greg McGunigle and Debra McPherson.
The three candidates running for BCNU Vice President are: Carol McCullough, Len Rose and Patt Shuttleworth.
You can view information on each candidate by visiting BCNU’s web site at www.bcnu.org.
On April 22, an election brochure featuring the candidates will be mailed to the homes of all members. Also included will be clear, concise instructions on how to use BCNU’s new televoting system. The mailing will also include your own unique Personal Identity Number. To vote, you can use your PIN anywhere in the province (a 1-800 number will be provided).
The new televoting system allows members to vote 24 hours per day during the election period, which runs from 6 AM on May 12 to 12 Noon on May 17, 2002.
You will also be able to read the candidates’ biographies and statements in the next issue of Update magazine, which will be mailed to all BCNU members near the end of April.
