Telephone poll of BCNU members begins this week
A telephone poll of BCNU members begins this week to determine priorities for the next round of provincial bargaining, and to gather members’ opinions on other union issues.
The poll will be conducted by CGT Research International, a Vancouver-based social research firm. It will involve interviews with about 500 BCNU members called at random across the province.
The research is the second phase of a project that began with a series of focus groups with members in January.
It is part of the process, along with regional and provincial bargaining conferences for establishing bargaining priorities.
Members are encouraged to participate in the poll if you are called by CGT.
