April 1, 2003 Cost of Living Adjustment wage increase set at 3.2 per cent
The Consumer Price Index figure published last week confirms that the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) wage increase effective April 1, 2003 is 3.2 per cent.
HEABC is now developing wage rates based on this 3.2 per cent increase. They will be sending the rates out to employers within the next few weeks.
Therefore, it will take some time before the wage increase appears on pay cheques but the increase will be retroactive to April 1, 2003.
