Telephone poll of BCNU members begins this week
Telephone polling to get feedback about strategies to reduce workloads, improve working conditions and help formulate demands for the next round of collective bargaining will start Wednesday, August 20

The poll will be conducted by Strategic Research, a Vancouver-based research opinion and communications firm. It will involve interviews with 500 BCNU members called at random throughout the province.

The poll is part of on-going research for a project that began with a series of focus groups with members in January, and is being followed up with several telephone polls.

BCNU will use the information to prepare for provincial bargaining in 2004.

If you are contacted by Strategic Communications, your participation would be appreciated in the survey.
