Nominations for BCNU treasurer, executive councillors close January 28
BCNU members are reminded that nominations for the posts of BCNU treasurer and executive councillors (2) close January 28 at 5 pm.
Nominations, biographical sketches, statements and photos must be received at the BCNU office in Burnaby by that time. The one exception is for candidates who fax in a copy of their nomination forms by the deadline. They must deliver the original material to the BCNU office as soon as possible after that.
Envelopes should be marked "Nomination Form" and addressed to Maxine Armstrong, chair, Nominations Committee, BC Nurses’ Union, 4060 Regent St., Burnaby BC V5C 6P5.
Nomination forms were included in the December 2004 Update magazine and are available on the BCNU website www.bcnu.org.
Voting will take place in May. Successful candidates will take office September 1, 2005 for a two-year term.
