BCNU members running for office in November Municipal election may be eligible for support
BCNU is non-partisan and is also politically active. It is part of BCNU policy to support our members who run for election. (See policy 4.4.4 (19) available on the BCNU web site www.bcnu.org under Key Documents Policy and Procedures Manual).
To receive support you must:
- be a dues paying member in good standing
- support the BCNU Mission Statement, Core Values and Core Belief
- support policies that improve patient care and the publicly funded, delivered and administered health care system
- support free collective bargaining for public sector employees and
- complete an application for salary replacement or "in kind" support from BCNU (Application attached or see the BCNU website www.bcnu.org.)

The deadline for application for support for the November 19, 2005 Municipal election is October 1, 2005. Your application must be received by mail or fax no later than October 1.
Successful applicants will be notified by October 21, 2005.
