Stephen Lewis, the United Nations' special envoy on AIDS in Africa, will be a guest speaker at BCNU's Convention 2006.
He will speak to delegates on Friday, March 3, at 1:30 pm.
The union extends an invitation to all interested BCNU members in the Lower Mainland and members of the public (space permitting) to attend the session at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and hear Mr. Lewis' address.
The hotel is located at 655 Burrard St., in Vancouver.
Mr. Lewis is an impassioned and inspirational speaker on a topic that is of keen interest to nurses and the public at large.
