May 4th Ratification Vote
BCNU members on Long Term Disability also encouraged to vote
BCNU members who are covered by the Provincial Collective Agreement are encouraged to take part in the Ratification Vote on May 4, 2006. Information on polling place and hours will be posted at work sites. BCNU Stewards and Regional Chairs will also have this information.
For members on Long Term Disability
BCNU members on LTD may vote at the work site at which they are employed. Exceptions will be made for nurses on LTD who do not live in the same community as their workplace. To vote at a polling station in your community of residence, the BCNU member will be required to provide photo identification and proof of current membership in BCNU. Membership can be verified by providing a copy of a current work site seniority list, a copy of a current Update magazine with the mailing label intact, a letter from your regional chair or steward at your work site confirming your membership or a recent pay-stub issued by your employer.

For those members unable to attend meetings explaining the tentative collective agreement, a special edition of the Update magazine containing detailed information has been mailed to all BCNU members.
