Research survey of emergency/critical care nurses on SARS/infections disease outbreaks issues
Researchers at the University of Ottawa are conducting a research study titled: Caring About Healthcare Workers As First Responders. The purpose of this project is to examine what organizational arrangements and supports are needed by health care workers as they balance their work roles and family responsibilities during infectious disease outbreaks. They are currently entering the 2nd phase of this project, which is to conduct a national survey of nurses and physician assistants who have worked in emergency departments or critical care within the past 3 years. The survey takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
