Public Service talks to resume December 4

Negotiations on a new contract for Public Service nurses have been scheduled to resume December 4, following productive discussions with government officials.

The two sides have also booked December 14 and 15 if additional time is needed to conclude a collective agreement. The Public Service Nurses Bargaining Association (PSNBA) is hopeful the government will be giving a monetary mandate to its negotiators shortly.

We thank any members who faxed or emailed the government. With talks now scheduled to resume, we ask that members refrain from any further messages at this time to ensure
a positive climate prevails at the bargaining table.

Negotiators from both sides of the bargaining table have been working hard for the past several weeks to understand the challenges and opportunities facing each other.

We will continue to update you on any new developments as they occur.
