CLC aboriginal/workers of colour events in Ottawa — Eligible BCNU members are encouraged to apply
The Canadian Labour Congress is holding its third aboriginal forum and third aboriginal/workers of colour conference in Ottawa March 22-24, 2007.
BCNU members who are aboriginal or are a member of a visible minority community are encouraged to apply to attend these events.
The CLC says the events are planned to advance concrete actions to build political power and presence for aboriginal and visible minority workers and their communities.
BCNU will fund two aboriginal members and two other members from visible minority communities to attend these events.
BCNU funding will cover all travel expenses, meals, accommodation and salary replacement.
