There's still time to sign up for Run for the Cure

It's not too late to sign up and participate in this year's Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure this Sunday, September 30.

BCNU is an official sponsor of the event, making a donation of $25,000.

All you have to do to be part of this important initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer is to register yourself as part of our national team named the "British Columbia Nurses' Union." Colette Wickstrom is your national captain. You will need this information to register online on the CIBC Run for the Cure website.

Once on the CIBC Run for the Cure homepage you'll note there is a pink icon entitled "Join a Team." Click on the icon and select your choice of the community you wish to run in and click register. You will then need to fill in your personal information completely before being able to join the national BCNU team.

BCNU will be participating in the following communities with our own tents, banners and literature tables: Abbotsford, Castlegar, Golden, Kamloops, Kelowna, Nanaimo, Prince George, Vancouver and Victoria.
