Send a message and celebrate Labour Day together
Speak out against gas taxes that community nurses and others are being forced to pay just to do their jobs!

BCNU President Debra McPherson along with BCNU members and other workers will gather at the Vancouver Art Gallery Labour Day to send a message to the BC government.

While Gordon Campbell has raised his own salary by 54% and raised his senior bureaucrats pay by 43%, the minimum wage in this province remains stuck at $10.00 an hour.

Community nurses in BC who must drive vehicles to provide care in our communities are now forced to pay the government's new gas tax out of their own pockets on top of ever increasing gas prices.

This Labour Day, join together with others and send a message to the government. Tell them it's time they listened to nurses and all working people.
