Nominations for March 19 to April 5 election for BCNU president and vice president is now closed
Nominations have now closed for the upcoming BCNU election for the positions of president and vice president.
The two candidates running for BCNU president are Debra McPherson and Paul Terpstra.
The four candidates running for BCNU vice president are Kevin Barry, Janice Buchanan, Howard Searle and Christine Sorensen.
You will find election statements and bios from each of the candidates posted on the BCNU website on February 1. The same info will also be included in Update magazine, which will be mailed to all members. A brochure featuring the candidates and voting instructions will also be mailed to the homes of all members shortly before the election date.
That mailing will also include clear, concise instructions on how to use BCNU's televoting system as well as a Personal Identity Number. To vote, you can use your PIN anywhere in North America except Hawaii and Alaska (a 1-800 number will be provided). You can also vote 24 hours per day during the election period, which runs from 9 AM on March 19 to 12 Noon on April 5, 2012.
