BCNU's Leadership & Labour Relations (L2R) Program significantly expands our existing steward education. With a unique focus on leadership development, L2R helps stewards develop essential competencies to effectively supporting members in the workplace. Through online and face-to-face modules, case analysis, group discussions, mini-projects and video, L2R creates learning that develops self-awareness, meaningful connections, and critical awareness. Stewards analyze ideas, apply critical thinking, practice new skills and work with members, staff and guest speakers. The result? Highly dynamic and engaging workshops that tackle the big issues while engaging both hearts and minds.
