The Professional Practice and Advocacy Department provides nurses with information, resources, research and support around professional practice issues and initiatives throughout BC.

Professional Advocacy and PRFs outlines the process in the collective agreement that exists for nurses to effectively resolve issues in their workplace related to nursing practice conditions, safety of patients and nurses and workload.

Licensing, Education, Advocacy & Practice (LEAP) program assists members with legal problems related to a professional practice complaint or concern. The program ensures nurses have access to appropriate services and support when faced with a professional college complaint or concern.

Research Resources outlines practice and relevant health services research related to nursing workforce and policy initiatives in BC and beyond.
