Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers is a filmmaker based in Vancouver. She is a member of the Blood Tribe (Blackfoot Confederacy, Kainai Nation) and is also Sámi from northern Norway. Her work is often rooted in social justice and community engagement.
Some of her award-winning short films include Bloodland, A Red Girl's Reasoning, and Bihttoš (Rebel). She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of British Columbia in First Nations Studies with a Minor in Women's and Gender Studies.
