Hi my name is Anamika and I am running for Regional Mental Health Representative because I am committed to supporting nurses and advocating for healthier, safer, and more respectful workplaces. Throughout my nursing career and union involvement, I have seen the impact of workplace stress, burnout, and psychological injury on our members. I believe every member deserves to feel heard, supported, and respected. I will work collaboratively with stewards, OH&S representatives, and our union to promote mental health education, reduce stigma, identify concerns, and advocate for meaningful solutions. I bring strong communication, leadership, compassion, and problem solving skills. I will listen, advocate, and ensure our members’ voices are heard.
