Solidarity is the heart of the union: only together can we resist and respond to the great challenges being faced by health care workers today. This day-long workshop introduces BCNU members to the work of the union and what it means to be an advocate – for ourselves, our patients, and our communities. Members learn about their rights under the collective agreements, BCNU’s commitment to social justice, and how to improve working conditions and relationships in the workplace. Designed to challenge, motivate and inspire, you will be connected with the information and resources needed to begin your path as an engaged union member. The workshop is delivered by Member Educators in each region.
Due to COVID-19 and in keeping with the recommendations of the Provincial Health Office and the government of BC, BCNU has postponed all in-person workshops until further notice. BCNU is offering a virtual BUS workshop on March 4. Learn more and register.
