General Election - Our Choice Our Voice

The BC Nurses’ Union conducts elections for its provincial executive officers and regional council members every three years as per article 5.01 in its Constitution and Bylaws. BCNU elections are held May 4-7 this year. The last election was held June 19-23, 2023.

Nominations Closed

The 2026 BCNU elections nomination period closed 12 noon PT on April 20.

Candidates and Campaigning

The nomination committee is actively reviewing nominees. Each candidate bio will be available once this stage of the election process is complete. Official opening of the campaign period will be announced here.

The nominations and voting periods have been established for BCNU's 2026 elections by the Nominations Committee, which oversees the union’s election and assumes responsibility for a fair and transparent election process.
