My name is Andrea Dunbar. I have been an RN for 22 years in pediatrics, community, and public health. I started with NH in 2014 and I am currently a CD Coordinator. I live in Smithers on unceded Wet’suwet’en Territory. I strongly support BCNU’s advocacy for nurses. I actively participate in NW Regional BCNU meetings and attended the 2026 BCNU Convention. I am a JOHSC alternate member on the Smithers Community Health JOHSC, starting in September 2023. Recently, I completed a JOHSC site inspection, coordinated a violence prevention site survey, and participated in incident investigations. Based on these experiences, I am an excellent candidate for the Regional OH&S Representative position. I will work hard to improve safety in workplaces.
