VM Treasurer Celine Loriot

I am an RN and steward at St. Paul's CICU, and I am seeking the regional treasurer position. My background in union leadership and governance, along with my mixed French-Filipino heritage, offers a unique perspective that can benefit Van Metro.

If I had not become an RN, I would have pursued a CPA designation, as I am detail-oriented, enjoy working with numbers, and have strong strategic skills. I have five years of experience in the non-profit sector and currently serve as a board director at Filipino BC, where I advocate for the Filipino-Canadian community.

My primary goal is to improve members' understanding of BCNU's finances by increasing transparency regarding union dues.
