BCNU respectfully acknowledges its offices are located on the traditional, unceded and ancestral lands of Indigenous communities across the lands now known as British Columbia.
The BCNU head office in Burnaby is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish) and səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil Waututh) nations whose historical relationships to the land continue to this day.

My name is Brigette Henning and I am seeking nomination for the West Kootenay Regional Occupational Health and Safety Respresentative.
I am currently employed as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Arrow Lakes Hospital in Nakusp BC. My 30+ years of health care expierence; from housekeeping through nursing, has granted me with the capability to work cohesively in a dynamic, ever changing environment which requires critical thinking, complex problem solving and the ability to manage myriad patient presentations with limited resources.
My professional nursing experience coupled with solid interpersonal skills and strong leadership capabilities, make me an excellent candidate for this position.
