Biography
Scott Duvall was elected provincial treasurer in May of 2026. He was appointed interim provincial treasurer by the BCNU Council in September 2023. Scott has served as the regional council member for the Thompson North Okanagan region since 2019.
Scott graduated as an RN from Thompson Rivers University in 2009. After graduating, Scott completed his critical specialty through Mount Royal University and has worked in the Thompson North Okanagan region, including Royal Inland Hospital and Vernon Jubilee Hospital.
Scott has been a BCNU steward for the past 15 years, including service on the Thompson North Okanagan regional executive as communications secretary and regional treasurer before being elected the regional council member in 2020 and 2023.
Scott is committed to supporting council and regions in effective stewardship of member dues. Scott will continue to maintain BCNU stringent financial controls and exercise his fiduciary responsibility in managing and reporting on BCNU’s financial management.
Scott currently lives in Vernon, enjoys many outdoor activities and has two grown sons.
