Regional Executive positions

Due to the large number of regional executive positions, candidates running for these positions cannot be confirmed until regional nomination chairs have contacted all of their candidates. Confirmed candidates will be listed at www.bcnu.org as soon as possible.

If you would like to get in touch, please call the BCNU election hotline, 1-800-894-3311, between the hours of 0900 - 1700, Monday to Friday.

Voting will take place between May 23 and June 2.

* PLEASE NOTE: the election for the two Executive Councillors is postponed and not will not occur with the election of the President, Vice President and Treasurer during the May 23 - June 2 voting period.

This is as a result of a process concluded on April 27, 2017 at the BC Labour Relations Board (LRB). The postponement was agreed upon, between the BCNU and a member, in an LRB consent award. The member is challenging their right to participate in the election.

The election for the two Executive Councillors will take place no later than January 2018. It may be conducted earlier, depending on the timeliness of an official hearing under the BCNU Constitution.
