Expressions of Interest for Member Ambassadors for BCNU Personal Resilience Workshops
BCNU is seeking two to three member ambassadors who will be assigned to support workshops scheduled around the province
This opportunity may be of particular interest to BCNU mental health representatives or Member Educators.
Responsibilities to include:
- welcoming attendees and providing an introduction to the workshop on behalf of BCNU
- providing a short overview of the BCNU Mental Health Strategy (PowerPoint provided)
- ensuring physical and technology set-ups are in place
- troubleshooting any logistical and catering concerns
- directing members to other BCNU resources as appropriate
- collecting and collating evaluations
- promoting the workshops
- confirming registrants in advance of the workshops to minimize no-shows and late cancellations
*May involve booking venues and catering.
Frequency
- Personal Resilience Workshops to be scheduled around the province 2 to 4 times per month
Remuneration
- Salary replacement and expenses as per BCNU policy.
Qualifications
- excellent interpersonal skills
- effective time management
- a good understanding of BCNU and the services the union provides
- ability to set up PowerPoint and other technologies
- ability to travel
- ability to work autonomously
- good problem solving skills
