Foundations in Occupational Health and Safety

Foundations in Occupational Health and Safety focuses on fundamental safety skills and strengthens members knowledge of worker safety rights and responsibilities. The course includes modules on worker rights, employer and worker responsibilities, union resources and supports for members to develop confidence in collaborative action.
 
The online learning activities downloadable online resources fare available as of May 7, 2026. The in-person live session is June 4, 2026.
 
Participants will be salary reimbursed for one day of union leave. Members will be notified of acceptance approximately four weeks prior to the course start date.
