BCNU Elections 2026: Nominations Period Open
Members are welcome to submit their nomination form to run in this year's provincial and regional elections
Any member in good standing who wishes to run in the BCNU elections for provincial or regional executive positions can submit their nomination form between 12 p.m. noon PT on April 6 and 12 p.m. noon PT on April 20. Any nomination form not submitted by noon PT on April 20 is late and will not be accepted. Nominations must be submitted electronically. The nomination form, which includes the candidate endorsement form, is available on the BCNU Member Portal.
Nomination forms will be received for the following provincial executive positions:
- President
- Vice President
- Treasurer
- Executive Councillor - Occupational Health & Safety and Mental Health
- Executive Councillor - Pensions
Nomination forms will be received for the following regional executive positions:
- Regional Council Member
- Communications Secretary
- Lobby Coordinator
- Mental Health Representative
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Representative
- Professional Responsibility Advocate
- Steward Liaison
- Treasurer
