Nominations Committee Statement: Campaigning at Convention
Candidates are prohibited from campaigning during paid time or distributing materials outside sanctioned events
Policy 2.0.7 prohibits campaigning on paid BCNU time, other than at events organized by the Nominations Committee.
Delegates are therefore prohibited from campaigning at convention during paid time, including during morning and afternoon breaks.
Delegates may campaign during unpaid lunch breaks and before and after the formal daily convention schedule. They may also campaign at the convention events organized by the Nominations Committee.
Campaign materials must not be distributed at convention except during the events organized by the Nominations Committee.
Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in protecting a free, fair and democratic election.
