Nominations Committee Statement: Candidate Directed to Suspend Campaigning
Campaigning suspended for Executive Councillor - Occupational Health and Safety and Mental Health candidate
The Nominations Committee advises that Aida Herrera, a candidate for Executive Councillor, OHS and Mental Health, has been directed to suspend her election campaign activities, online and otherwise.
This direction is based on campaign materials that contravene Policy 2.0.7, several meritorious complaints related to her campaign, and a failure to follow the Committee’s directions.
Members are not permitted to campaign on Ms. Herrera’s behalf.
