Voting Period
The voting period for the special election for Executive Councillor - Health and Safety will start at 0900am PST on June 15, 2015 and close at 12 noon PST on June 26, 2015.
Ways to vote
Once again, members may choose to vote electronically or by telephone. The election hotline 1-800-894-3311 will be open throughout the voting period starting at 9:00am on June 15, 2015
How to vote
In order to vote, you will need voting credentials, which you will receive via personal email or by post, depending on the contact details you have provided to BCNU. If you want to vote, please ensure we have a current email and/or mailing address for you. Register or log in to the BCNU member portal to confirm we have up-to-date information. Expect to receive voting credentials in early June. If you do not receive credentials, call the hotline.

Any campaigning for the vacancy of the Executive Councillor - Health and Safety can be done on the BCNU Special Election 2015 event page. Any special election postings by members or candidates on the BC Nurses' Union private group page or Our Nurses Matter public page will be removed.
Complaint Process Form
Provincial candidates running in the 2015 BCNU special election must abide by the provisions of the current BCNU Constitution and Bylaws and all relevant union polices, including provincial candidate campaign guidelines. If you believe that any candidates have violated these rules, please complete the complaint form found at www.bcnuelections.org. The BCNU provincial nominations committee will review all complaints and determine an appropriate course of action.
