Crucial Conversations helps stewards or Joint Occupational Health and Safety committee representatives recognize high-stake situations before they escalate into crises. The course shares methods for bringing interactions back to a safe place and fosters productive communication. Participants learn techniques effective for communication in critical situations to help achieve shared objectives with respect.
Crucial Conversations is a blended learning course comprised of weekly online learning activities starting on April 20, 2026 and two live sessions are on May 20 and 21, 2026.
The May 20 and 21 live sessions are in-person at the BCNU Burnaby office.
The course is delivered using the BCNU Learning Centre, BCNU's learning management system. You will need to log in or create a new user account to apply.
