Disability Justice in Health Care: Supporting Workers and Patients with Disabilities
Register here.
Join us Oct. 6 from 1-2 p.m. for an engaging virtual workshop, supported by the Workers with Disabilities Caucus, that introduces members to disability justice through a practical, health care-focused lens.
Led by Heather McCain, the session will explore how nurses and other health care workers can help create more equitable, accessible and respectful experiences for disabled workers and patients, clients and residents, including people with nonvisible disabilities. The session will be recorded and available to members for 60 days after the event.
