The 2025 workshop called “In Solidarity” was centered around solidarity, one of BCNU core values. The focus on another core BCNU value is the theme around this proposed 2026 workshop for new members/emerging activists: “Constructing Collectivity”.
This education will continue the theme of 2025’s building solidarity and align with the Building Union Strength Workshop (without repeating its content). To successfully build activists we engage members in principles of unionism, cover the organizing model, and demonstrate grassroots involvement and collective work required to create change. Knowing your individual and collective rights, understanding others within the collective, and working together to take actions that reflect that YOU are the union.
This will not repeat any of the content from the existing Building Union Strength Workshop.
