Young Nurses’ Network

As a young nurse and/or nurse in the early years of your career you likely face some unique challenges. The BCNU Young Nurses' Network (YNN) enables you and other young nurses and nursing students (age 35 or younger) to connect. You can meet socially, share experiences, address issues of concern and get more involved in BCNU.

This network meets twice a year, bringing together one representative from each BCNU region. These provincial YNN reps also run regional events for young nurses to meet and share experiences. For more information on the roles and responsibilities of a caucus regional representative, please click here. If you represent your region in the YNN, and would like to request funding from BCNU to further your group's goals and initiatives, please complete the Regional Caucus Funding Request Form.

To join the YNN, please contact the chair or Hanif Karim,  Human Rights, Equity and Health Policy Officer.

We also encourage you to join the Young Nurses' Network Facebook group and follow the Young Nurses' Network Instagram.
