Canadian Federation of Nurses Union Presentation: “You are Canada’s Nurses.”

BCNU’s second day of convention kicked off with an inspiring address from Canadian Federation of Nurses’ Union president Linda Silas, who reflected on a year of challenge, action, and growing solidarity among nurses across the country. Her message to the BCNU delegation was clear: the power of our movement is not in one person – it’s in all of us.
Members Debate Bylaw Amendments

The second day of convention saw delegates engage in vibrant debate on three proposed union bylaw amendments.
The group passed an amendment to bylaw Article 8, giving members of the Truth and Reconciliation Committee convention delegate status.
2025 BCNU Leadership Awards Presentation

Day two of Convention 2025 featured the annual presentation of the BCNU Leadership Awards.
Union president Adriane Gear presented the NU Leader Award to Vancouver Metro region member Abbey Glowicki and the Excellence in Leadership and Advocacy Award to Central Vancouver region member Jessica Machado.
