BCNU’s third day of convention opened with a powerful address from Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions President Linda Silas, who delivered a message of solidarity ahead of BCNU’s upcoming strike vote and urged members to come together and fight for what they deserve.

Delegates engaged in lively and productive discussion on the third and final day of Convention 2026. The group debated nine important resolutions and voted in favour of a resolution that BCNU not invest internal funds in companies identified by the United Nations as actively profiting from Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine
