This introductory course gives BCNU worksite stewards the tools to create and maintain a consistent practice to advocate for and empower members to stand up for themselves and protect their workplace rights.
We are now hosting three drop-in sessions for those already registered to discuss materials and key components covered in the course. The sessions are open to all stewards who may want a refresher on reading and interpreting a collective agreement, how to participate in union/management meetings and more. This is not a space for labour relations advice or guidance.
Drop-ins with education officers are offered virtually by Zoom and no registration is required.
