The impact of moral distress on nurses’ mental health has grown exponentially in recent years. This webinar will review examples of institutional failure and negative policy changes   fuelling moral distress. These have been gleaned from the facilitators’ rich discussions about moral distress with BCNU members over the past year and show how moral distress relates to psychological injury and operational stress.

We’ll also delve into trauma-informed tools for working with moral distress, both from past experiences and as it continues to arise in your work and life.

This live session is delivered by renowned somatic educators Anita Chari and Angelica Singh. It is grounded in principles of trauma-informed practice that help participants detect stressors and their effects, making it easier to navigate feelings of overwhelm, trauma and burnout.
