BCNU invites you to attend the fourth event of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) 101 Dinners, with a discussion on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s (TRC) Calls to Action #18 - 24 on health.
This summer marked 10 years since the TRC issued its final report containing the 94 Calls to Action to redress the legacy of residential schools and advance the process of Canadian reconciliation. Join the Human Rights and Equity team as we discuss the Calls to Action 18 - 24 on health, the progress and barriers to implementation, and our responsibilities as nurses and a health care union to advance reconciliation.
The Indigenous Leadership Circle welcomes Indigenous members to participate in making medicine bags together before the dinner from 1500-1800. Dinner and discussion will begin at 1800.
