Nominations Committee Addresses Anonymous Letter Sent to Worksites

This bulletin is issued by the Nominations Committee.

An anonymous letter, which may be intended to discredit and disparage certain candidates in the upcoming general election, was circulated to various worksites across the province. The letter encloses in-camera communications between Council and is a serious breach of confidentiality.

The Nominations Committee wishes to advise that the allegations in the letter remain unproven. BCNU intends to conduct further investigation related to the anonymous letter.

We ask that BCNU members do not allow the anonymous and unsubstantiated letter to influence their vote.
