BCNU invites you to attend the first in a series of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) 101 Dinners .*
In honour of International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 17, our first event will open with a discussion centered around issues pertinent to the queer and trans community; shedding light on various challenges and celebrating resilience. There will be an opportunity to discuss new contract language, emphasizing its opportunities for creating a more inclusive and equitable environment for all members.
This event is not salary replaced. Dinner will be provided.
*The BC Nurses’ Union is a learning organization, committed to the growth and development of all our members. For 2024, BCNU will be organizing a Diversity Equity Inclusion (DEI) series of dinner meetings. These events will explore cultural safety, anti-racism, anti-discrimination and advocacy for gender diverse members.
