BCNU invites you to attend the third event of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) 101 Dinners.
Emancipation Day in Canada commemorates the day the Slavery Abolition Act came into effect on Aug. 1, 1834, marking the abolition of slavery in the British Colonies. Join our Human Rights and Equity team as we unpack the history of slavery in Canada, examine how its legacy contributes to the experience of racialized workers today, and the ongoing need for labour protections against racism and exploitation.
The event is not salary replaced. Dinner will be provided at 1800.
